P0441 is one of the more common OBD-II trouble codes with the Saab 9-5. It’s a generic powertrain code, which means regardless of what auto manufacturer built the vehicle, it’ll have the same meaning. - EVAP Canister Purge Valve– The most common issue that causes the P0441 trouble code in your Saab 9-5 is going to be the vapor canister purge valve. When it goes bad, it typically causes issues with the vehicle’s idle speed. This is especially true right after you fuel up. It’s really easy to replace.
